October 2011 was designated as National Pit Bull Awareness Month. The Month grew from National Pit Bull Awareness Day, held on the last Saturday in October. Jodi Preis of Bless the Bullys began NPBAD in 2007. Pit Bull Awareness Month arrived a few years later, in 2011. This October, pit bull advocates across the eastern shore are helping to shed new light on this bully breed to help erase the stigma that these furry friends are often associated with.

He had skin infections all over his body, and he was extremely malnourished.
The Pit Bull named Freshy discovered himself deserted by his household, with his life remain only a few hours in a jam-packed animal shelter in New York. He used to live a delighted life with a household of 4 kids, 2 canines, and one feline.

They will be naturally protective of your family and your property even sacrificed themselves to protect what belongs to their owner.
